Nice to see the clinic feature in todays Evening Leader - Must also recognise the part the physio's and staff at Gabowen played in Keiths recovery - great job guys!

Omid joins the party August 2015

Omid Bakhitari Vale of Clwyd Tennis Champion

Omid Bakhitari keeps up the clinic's winning ways with a Vale of Clwyd Tournament win

and a 1st in the Mold Team Club Championships.

Omid has worked hard to recover from a debilitating knee issue so his success in his comeback program needs to be applauded.

All at the clinic are behind him as he progresses and wish him well in his new school!

The medals keep rolling in as the Seniors play thier part!

World Masters Championships 2015 Lyon France

What a fantastic week this has been!

Not to be outdone by our youngsters David Norman of Frodsham delighted us all at the clinic today when he walked in with a Gold Medal from the World Masters Championships from Lyon - France.

We have looked after David for many years and I can testify to the fact that there is no more deserving athlete than David.

He has worked through many injuries to achieve the ultimate accolade - World Campion!!!

It is nice to be reminded that the clinic truly belongs to the sportsmen and women of North Wales and the North West - thanks guys - you are what it is all about - it is a pleasure to be of service.

David - we saw the pure exaltation in your achievement today, we are so pleased to share it with you, well done!

Marc Potts keeps it going!

Marc collects his well deserved Silver medal

Our last entry on Marc saw him preparing for the ABT Worlds at Llandegla.

I am delighted to inform you that Marc finished second in D class shooting 167 out of 200 clays claiming the silver medal.

Marc missed out on the Gold by only 2 clays - another remarkable performance from another Flintshire Dragon.

Well done Marc and we wish you well in the Welsh ABT this weekend and for you and your Welsh Team mate's success in the International Olympic Trap competition in Ireland next week!

All at the clinic are behind you 100%

Aidan Jones Starring Role at the Taekwon Do World Championships - Jesolo -Italy

Aiden Jones wins Gold Silver & a Bronze World Junior & Senior Taekwon-Do Championships - Jesolo Italy
North Wales Young Dragon wins Gold - Silver & Bronze at World Taekwon Do Championships in Italy Aidan Jones with his Gold - Silver & Bronze Medals in the Clinic

We are absolutley delighted with Ewloe's Aidan Jones recent success in the Taekwon Do World Junior & Senior Championships - Jesolo - Italy.

Flintshire Young Dragon - Aiden brought home a Gold - Silver & Bronze medal from the Junior World's and his father informs me he should have won two Gold's but he took his eye off the ball for a moment!

Good learning curve that one!

What is even more remarkable is that we had just finished treating Aiden for an injury he had sustained a couple of weeks prior to these Championships and just made the deadline for him to compete in fine condition, worry free, injury fully resolved!

Aiden stuck to the regime we asked of him and reaped the benefits - he worked hard without complaint.

His father also deserves a lot of credit, as we installed a daily regime on Aiden in order to make the deadline, his father found the time to bring Aiden in for the treatments he needed.

Well done Dad!

Aiden is one to watch - Flintshire should be proud of him - The Clinic is certainly proud of him and are delighted to have played a very minor part in helping him in what is sure to be the first of many more medals to come.

Well done mate and try and give us a little more time  - next time!

Jamie Jones PB's and wins Gold & Bronze at Welsh U13 Championships

Jamie Jones with his Gold & Bronze medals in the clinic

Jamie Jones of Flint achieved a Gold medal in the U13's 800 meters and collected a PB on the way.

Jamie also collected a Bronze medal in the U13's 1500 meters - Jamie deserves the title of one of our Flintshire Young Dragons and is also an accomplished young footballer.

Jamie's achievement is made all the more as he worked hard to recover from an inconvenient injury just prior to the Welsh Championships.

There seems to be a thread running through the clinic this year as these remarkable achievers seem to be all from Flintshire - they collect injuries prior to major competitions - have families that support them magnificently - and are all called Jones!! (Well nearly all ...)

We are most grateful that they all entrust us with the management of their injury regimes.

We proud of all they have achieved so far in their sporting careers and hope to be able to continue supporting them as they continue further up the ladder of success.

Jamie is another one to watch - but will it be Athletics or Football - we wait to see

Well done Jamie the Clinic is proud of you mate!

Russ, Chris & all at the clinic would like to congratulate Marc Potts on his hard work and of his achievements this last year - we are really proud of you mate - keep the cartridges flying!

Young Gun Marc Potts update on what he has been doing these past few months - in his own words 19/07/2005

Since my last update I have been picked for the GB Target Tokyo scheme for Olympic Trap.

Unfortunately I did not make it through to the third phase! but following on from that I was approached by the GB shooting coach and asked to join the GB Regional Development program for Olympic Trap (which I have been shooting in for a few months now)  shooting along side some very accomplished GB and World class shooters.

I am pleased to say that I have been holding my own which has meant a lot of hard work and dedication!
I have been getting some coaching from Ex GB and Olympic medalists Ian Peel which has been amazing learning some new skills from someone who has been doing this for years and has so much knowledge to share.

I have also been asked to take part in the Welsh Clay Shooting Development program which takes place in local shooting grounds in Wales with a small training group which is a good initiative to encourage young people into shooting.

I have been shooting the GB Olympic Trap selection shoots this year and after all the results have come in and the selections have finished I have been ranked 64 in the UK out of 262 shooters which for my first 6 months shooting Olympic Trap I am over the moon with.

In the last qualifier I shot my very first 25 straight in a Olympic Trap competition and PB of 112/125 - which was a heart racing moment with a lot of people watching.

The rankings can be found on the BCITSF website.

I have also been shooting for the Welsh Team in both ABT and OT and I have been picked for both disciplines representing Wales in the forthcoming Home Internationals over in Ireland.
A great honor - the dates are -

ABT 4th, 5th September Dungannon Ireland

OT 14th, 15th August Courtlough Ireland

I will also be taking part in the ABT worlds competition at Llandegla on the 1st and 2nd of August which i will hopefully be able to put a good performance in over the two days.

After the internationals are over I will be continuing my training with the GB program throughout the winter and continue taking part in competitions over the winter preparing for next year to get started!

15,0000 cartridges later a lot of miles and a lot of early mornings, hard and training but still smiling I am pleased to say I have been enjoying my shooting this season and cannot wait to take part in the internationals and continue my training and fixed on my end goal of my GB team place! (hopefully not to far away) hope to see you both soon as you continued support is great thank you

One of our Clients needs our help, Phil is one of our elite motorcycle racers having raced everything from the TT to Drag racing, it is sad to hear that someone has stooped to stealing these bikes.

I copy Phils post on Facebook below and ask if anyone hears of anything let us know and we will pass the information on to Phil.

Last night my YZ400 motocross bike and a friends WR250 enduro were stolen from the Deeside area. Both are blue. The reg of the WR250 is WR56UEJ. Both were in pretty good condition prior to the theft. I know it's not a lot of information to go on but there's not much to go on but please keep your eyes and ears open for any info. I'll post a photo later. Thanks.
